Editorial policy
Rising Garden Guide aims to publish clear, careful writing about garden design and observation. We distinguish general guidance from claims that depend on a particular place, and make room for correction when something is wrong.
Accuracy and care
We check factual claims against suitable information before publication and review wording for clarity. When a topic depends on local conditions or specialist knowledge, we say so rather than presenting a general explanation as universally applicable. Articles are informational and are not a substitute for advice about a particular site.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are kept distinct from commercial arrangements. Any sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can tell it apart from independent editorial content. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage, and we do not imply independent endorsement where there is a commercial relationship.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or misleading passage, use the Contact page and identify the article and detail in question. We review correction requests and amend published material when warranted; significant changes are noted where appropriate.
Images and illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. Illustrative images are not evidence of a real garden, plant result or documented event, and we aim to make their illustrative role clear.
